Here's a very special portrait of Annette sketched by her favorite Aunt--Aunt Rose--in1945. Note--I still have the pin Annette wears in the portrait (which Annette saved for 70 years of course).
Above all, Annette loved family and delighted in a real "grandmother" to Peter's children. She enjoyed sneaking out for beers--in Sonoma wine country--with Belden and Jess at HopMonk. Thanks Jess for sharing this beautiful memories.
I agree, Risa -- a) that a Schaeffer with a straw was, in Annette's opinion, a better choice than a fine Cab and b) that our kids, too, couldn't have had a better grand-Aunt: like having another Grandma!
Annette loved living every moment--especially when a party was involved. Here are some vibrant "so Annette" photos of her at Seton and Heather's wedding. (Thanks Heather for these amazing pix!)
